Command R
Model family oriented toward retrieval and tool use.
Overview
Command R is a model family built with retrieval and tool use as first-class behaviours rather than capabilities that emerge from scale. It solves the problem that a general model asked to cite sources will often produce citations that do not support the claim. It exists because a model trained to ground its output in retrieved documents makes less work for the pipeline around it.
