PostgreSQL
General-purpose relational database, and a vector store through an extension.
Visão geral
PostgreSQL is a relational database whose extension mechanism lets vector search live in the same system as the data it filters on. It solves the problem that retrieval usually means running a second datastore beside the one holding the application's real data, with consistency and filtering spread across both. It exists in an AI stack because pgvector makes "one database" a real option rather than a simplification.
